R&S Countryside Kennels is a family-run kennel in Arcade, New York, about 40 miles from Buffalo. From our home, we have lovingly bred family-friendly German
Shepherd Dogs and English style Labrador Retrievers since 2009. 
 
We raise each pup in our home and socialize him or her with our family. Because our
dogs are a part of our family, we strive to ensure our pups will be a suitable
addition to yours. Through responsible screening, we produce dogs with stable
temperaments and clean bills of health. Our puppiesare bred from American
show lines, as well as German show and working lines. With proper
training, R&S dogs are strong prospects for show and working circuits
alike.

 As experienced breeders, we temperament test each puppy at seven weeks of age. All of the German Shepherds selected for breeding have undergone standard hip and elbow testing to prevent future joint issues common in their breed. As good
health for our puppies is an absolute top priority, each puppy is dewormed and
up-to-date on shots prior to adoption.

We generally have one litter of Labradors and two to three litters of German
Shepherd puppies each year. View our photo galleries to see past and present

We are breeders that raise each of our puppies like our own; we stand behind our
